Urban Planning Leadership Opportunity

This is a highly skilled Principal Urban Planner role that offers the chance to lead exciting projects across various industries and business sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of planning in Queensland, excellent project management skills, and a proven ability to deliver results on time and within budget.

This key leadership position involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior planners to enhance their careers.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing complex planning approvals and delivering high-quality analysis and research.
  2. Leading and working with teams to achieve exceptional results in a commercially astute environment.
  3. Developing and maintaining effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  4. Conducting thorough technical reviews and providing guidance to junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Town Planning or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in consulting with expertise in town planning, property, and development.
  • Proven track record in delivering client outcomes and directing multidisciplinary projects.
  • Excellent communication and delegation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
