Financial Administrator for Creative Scotland

Creative Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our operations team.

About the Role:

The Financial Administrator will play a key role in ensuring effective financial processes that support the team and contribute to the success of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial transactions, including income and expenditure, to ensure accurate and timely recording.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to stakeholders, including management and funders.
  • Develop and maintain financial systems and processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to team members, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial administration, including bookkeeping and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and processes, including Xero.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and discretion.
