Role Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing various aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out construction phase tasks as directed by the Project Manager, including subcontractor and supplier management, project technical support, and coordination with clients.
  • Develop an understanding of construction materials, processes, and programme requirements.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations, planning, and execution of construction projects while liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Participate in labouring and aid supervisors, observe and learn construction processes, and collect quality information.
  • Prepare operations and maintenance manuals, coordinate delivery of materials, and identify and resolve issues or conflicts that arise during construction.

Requirements:

  • Civil or Structural Engineering Degree or Construction Management.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Completion of OH&S Induction Training for Construction Industry Workers (White Card).
  • Planning and organisational skills, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, excellent time management and prioritisation skills, and attention to detail.
