Job Description:

The Centre Director will be responsible for managing the centre's overall performance, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a high standard of care for children. This role requires strategic planning, effective time management and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Oversee the daily operations of the centre, ensuring smooth delivery of programs and services.
  • Staff Development and Support: Provide guidance and support to educators and staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with families, community groups and stakeholders to promote the centre's reputation and services.
  • Program Development and Quality Improvement: Collaborate with educators to develop and implement high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of children.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education: A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in early childhood education and care, with a track record of achieving results.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Ability to lead and manage a team of educators and staff to achieve organisational goals.
