Director of Childcare Operations

Little Zak's Academy is seeking an experienced and dedicated leader to join their team as Director of Childcare Operations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of early childhood education and care in the Hunter/Newcastle and Central Coast region.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals towards achieving excellent outcomes for children and families.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies for exceptional quality services, maintaining strong knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).

  • Develop and implement strategies for exceptional quality services
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals towards achieving excellent outcomes for children and families
  • Maintain strong knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in staff development & leadership, with a background in early childhood education.

Requirements:
  • ACECQA Approved Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Proven experience in staff development & leadership, with a background in early childhood education

  • Strong computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records
