The role will support APAC functional leads to develop and implement policies, procedures and systems for Health, Safety and Environment (HSEQ).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive advice on HSEQ matters that enable the business to achieve its objectives.
  • Contribute to the Global HSEQ strategy and agenda.
  • Develop, implement, communicate and review HSEQ programs, policies, procedures, documentation and systems.
  • Manage incident investigations, injury management, workers compensation claims and return to work programs.
  • Review and approve JHA field/site and project plans.
  • Support, advise and mentor line managers in handling HSEQ matters.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of HSE training and induction programs.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in a Health, Safety and Environment role.
  • A diploma or higher tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety and/or Environmental Science.
  • Excellent communication and behavioural skills.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of management systems conforming to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards.
  • A strong understanding and working knowledge of HSEQ local and international management principles, standards and legislations.
