Job Title: Insolvency AccountantWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented account to join our team as an insolvency accountant.This is a fantastic opportunity for a competent accountant to continue their career in the insolvency industry.

Our company has over 30 years of experience in corporate and personal insolvency, specialising in formal and informal appointments. We offer excellent training and support for additional study and ongoing career progression.

Your day-to-day role will include:

  • Managing insolvency appointments.
  • Preparing correspondence and reports to creditors.
  • Conducting investigations and preparing statutory investigation reports.
  • Pursuing recoveries.
  • Assisting in preparation of budgets and cashflow forecasts.
  • Maintaining and attending to accurate statutory reporting requirements.
  • Ensuring files and working papers are accurate and maintained appropriately.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A desire to complete CA and/or CPA qualifications.
  • A strong understanding of financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A willingness to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience using insolvency and accounting software, including Core IPS/Turnkey, Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks.
