The Addiction Recovery Specialist is a critical component of our Addiction Services program, providing evidence-based interventions to support positive behavioural change in individuals struggling with substance abuse. This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver holistic care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver face-to-face, video conferencing, and telephone counselling services to clients.
- Develop and lead group sessions, both in-person and online.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners to enhance client outcomes.
- Mandatory qualification in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD).
- Experience working in AOD or related fields.
- Four core AOD units highly desirable.
- Strong counselling skills and knowledge of modalities.
- Tertiary qualification in Counselling highly desirable.
