Job Overview
This position entails fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional support across our branch network. The successful candidate will be task-oriented, with excellent organizational skills to efficiently manage various administrative duties and contribute to the smooth operation of our debt recovery processes.
- Perform debt collection activities for all monies due and past due as detailed within the region, in line with specified collection procedures and timelines.
- Engage with customers to follow up on outstanding debt and negotiate suitable payment arrangements.
- BUILD lasting relationships with key internal stakeholders and customers to ensure timely payments.
- Monitor accounts and payments into accounts.
- Implement relevance holds and blocks on accounts where necessary.
- Record relevant customer notes and maintain client files up to date.
- Adhere to compliance and confidentiality processes.
- Complete related reporting and analysis where required.
About You
- Prior experience in an accounts receivable or debt recovery environment is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly, are essential.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Strong data analytic skills and commercial acumen are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
- A willingness to learn and adaptability are highly valued.
- Previous experience with SAP and Power BI is considered an asset but not essential.
