Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Specialist to join our team in a community-based rehabilitation role. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake occupational therapy assessments, including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, and equipment assessments.
  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans in collaboration with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders.
  • Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support individuals to achieve maximal work participation.
  • Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
  • Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA accreditation.
  • Willingness to learn and positively impact individuals' lives in tangible ways.
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • A commitment to a high level of customer service to clients and customers.
  • Willingness to work in the community (must have a driver's licence and access to own vehicle).
  • Current or able to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.

Estimated Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
