About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Combat System Engineer to fill this key position.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of Guided-missile Destroyer (DDG) requirements and deliver updated DDG specifications in support of upgrades to the DDG Combat System (CS).

  • Execute Combat System (CS) Systems Engineering activities supporting requirements analysis, architecture definition, and subsystem development.
  • Develop and maintain system functional and non-functional requirements and design artefacts.
  • Support major program milestones such as design reviews and test readiness reviews.
  • Implement approved Engineering Changes.
About You
  • Past experience in Integration, Test, and Evaluation of CS Products into Naval Platforms or equivalent complex Military Systems is essential.
  • Substantial experience with Combat System requirements within a maritime context is required.
  • Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, methods, tools, and techniques is necessary.
  • Design and development of military systems using GFX and COTS components are highly valued.
  • Multidisciplinary engineering project experience preferably within the defence industry is desired.
