Job Title:

A Principal Planner position has become available within a respected planning consultancy in South Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned town planner to take on a pivotal leadership role, leading complex, high-value planning projects from land use planning, master planning, strategic/policy planning to development advisory and approvals.

As a Principal Town Planner or Urban Planner, you will manage high-priority projects with autonomy, building strong client relationships through exceptional service and trusted advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing major-strategic planning and development approvals projects
  • Establishing and nurturing long-term client relationships
  • Serving as a catalyst for growth by identifying opportunities and driving continuous improvement
  • Leading and supporting a talented team by guiding development, overseeing resource allocation, coaching performance, and delegating effectively

This role requires someone who is calm under pressure, commercially savvy, technically confident, and always solution-oriented, bringing professionalism and client satisfaction to every interaction.

Requirements:
