Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Game Server Developer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient multiplayer gaming server solutions in C#/.NET.
  • Collaborate with Unity experts to debug and enhance Unity integration with the server.
  • Work with hosting/infrastructure experts to develop and maintain solutions for deploying and updating the servers, predominantly using AWS cloud deployment.
  • Cooperate with PHP experts to develop API and reporting solutions to support the multiplayer servers.
  • Possess knowledge of multiplayer concepts and identify concurrency, locking, queues, and race conditions.
  • Utilize server technologies to improve efficiency, such as caching, queuing, and automation.
  • Assist in monitoring and debugging servers and solutions.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with C#/.NET in a relevant multiplayer project.
  • Familiarity with supporting technologies, including socket connections (TCP and UDP), data compression, encryption, etc.
  • Experience working in a gaming environment, preferably with solutions developed in Unity.
  • Knowledge of cloud hosting and deployment, preferably with AWS.
  • Experience with source control (preferably GIT) and JIRA.
  • Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of MySQL, Memcached, and Redis.
Essential Skills:
  • C#.NET programming skills.
  • Experience with Unity.
  • Understanding of multiplayer concepts.
  • Knowledge of cloud hosting and deployment.
  • Experience with source control and JIRA.
