- The selected candidate will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive primary care services to a defined panel of patients.

The successful candidate will have a high level of medical knowledge and possesses all the qualities for providing comprehensive and compassionate care for those who served.
Responsibilities
- Provides clinical examination, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic diseases, preventive care, and coordination of care for a panel of primary care patients.
- Responsible for monitoring PACT teamlet performance to assess adherence to VA standards, assure quality and effectiveness of care, and meet VA performance measures.
- Outstanding customer service is expected.
- Leads the team in assisting the patient advocate and administration in resolving patient concerns and inquiries.
- Exercises medical decision-making and provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for a specific group of patients.
- Must have excellent communication skills and relations with staff and community and is able to elicit cooperation from others.
Qualifications
- Education: A post-master's certificate or master's or doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Licensure: All APN (NPs) must possess and maintain an active, current, full, and unrestricted APN license to practice as an NP in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Certification: All APN (NPs) must maintain full and current board certification in an area of clinical specialty from one of the following: the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB), or other nationally recognized certifying body in the area in which the Nurse Practitioner is academically prepared.
