Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Transmission Line Estimating Manager to lead our estimating team and provide expertise across the Utilities business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the group by monitoring workload and progress to ensure the most effective use of resources and assessing resourcing needs to meet business objectives.
  • Consult with operational departments to establish requirements and detail the accuracy of tender pricing.
  • Attend pre-award and post-tender meetings with the wider Pre-Contracts Team responding to any queries or to understanding requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Quantity Surveying or Engineering degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in an engineering and construction environment with an emphasis on Transmission Line projects.
  • Estimating from first principles, with a self-performing and contracting deliverable environment.
  • Experience with estimating software necessary with a background in Expert Estimation, CCS or CATS desirable.
