About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our multi-disciplined, in-house engineering team in Sydney, NSW, to work on a major HV Transmission Line project. As a key member of the team, you will provide structural design works supporting Transmission lines tenders and projects.

  • Design support structures and foundations for transmission lines;
  • Provide professional leadership for the discipline group of engineers, focusing on technical matters, timeliness, cost, constructability, and safety;
  • Fulfil roles as Designer, Checker, Verifier, and/or Design Discipline Leader in the provision of engineering works;
  • Certify professional engineering work as compliant with relevant codes and standards;
  • Develop technical specification documents and reports;
  • Develop engineering skills in accordance with Engineers Australia CPD requirements;
  • Provide technical support throughout construction activities as required;
  • Ensure safety in the conduct of all activities.

About You

As a professional with a strong understanding of transmission line design and engineering principles, you will have relevant engineering tertiary qualifications, proficiency in PLS CADD, PLS Tower, and PLS Pole, and a Chartered Engineer (CPEng) registration. Your energetic, positive attitude and customer focus will be essential in this role.
