About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transmission Linesperson to join our team at Genus Infrastructure. As an integral part of our Transmission Lines team, you will be responsible for the installation of overhead Transmission Lines within our major projects team.

You will be required to adhere to Genus company procedures and standards, as well as client requirements, and be responsible for ensuring safe work practices for yourself and your team members. This includes identifying and reporting hazards and incidents, complying with Genus group's core values and all associated legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of overhead Transmission Lines
  • Ensuring safe work practices and compliance with company procedures

Requirements
  • Current certificate III in Power System Transmission overhead
  • TransGrid PSSR 6.2 or 6.3 Highly Regarded
  • C2 Crane & rigging qualifications will be highly regarded
  • 3+ years of experience within a similar role
  • Valid "C" class manual drivers license with the ability to upgrade to HR (HR license desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely on transmission networks
  • Values teamwork & safety as a priority
