Our AOD Withdrawal Support Team is seeking an experienced professional to join our Intake and Assessment team.
We offer a permanent/part-time position with flexibility in workdays, SCHADS Level 4 salary, and enhanced take-home pay through salary packaging options. Our Model of Care puts clients at the centre of our services, creating positive change in people's lives.

This includes managing client assessment and waitlists, conducting readiness for change scales, and clinical risk assessments. The role requires liaison with external stakeholders to support clients in accessing services and providing regular progress reports to the Service Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive screenings using relevant AOD tools and present referrals to clinical review meetings.
- Support new clients on the waitlist by providing relevant information on the program and identifying services to support them upon exit.
- Participate in individual and group supervision for operational and clinical purposes and ensure risk assessments and safety plans are undertaken for high-risk clients.
What We're Looking For:
Previous case management or intake experience working collaboratively with clients with substance misuse problems and their families or carers.
Experience in a clinical setting delivering a consistent model of care within the alcohol and other drugs, mental health, or community service sector.
Strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to build rapport and facilitate client outcomes.
A Bachelor's degree in social work, youth work, mental health, or a related discipline is highly regarded, along with Certificate IV in AOD or willingness to undertake within six months.
Why Join Us:
Contribute to life-changing work and values-based culture through our Strategic Plan, quality accreditation, Reconciliation Action Plan, and Rainbow Tick accreditation progress.
Grow through professional and personal development opportunities, including regular supervision, goal-setting, and individual development plans.
Thrive with various benefits supporting your wellbeing and work-life balance, including additional leave days, EAP services, and salary packaging entitlements.
Windana is committed to child safety and requires a valid Working with Children Check and Police Check for this position.
We value and celebrate diversity and inclusion as an equal employment opportunity employer, encouraging applicants from all backgrounds and life experiences to apply.
