We are seeking a skilled Specialist to join our team as a Steel Framing Detailer. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing Framecad and other estimating tools to deliver detailed drafting, BOMs, and cost reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detailing and Estimating: Utilize Framecad to produce accurate details, drafts, and estimates for manufacturing and construction projects.
  • Plan Interpretation: Read and interpret building plans to produce BOMs and CSV-based cost reports.
  • Manufacturing Support: Provide support to manufacturing teams with CSV files and structural steel detailing.
  • BOM Management: Maintain accurate BOMs and accessories reports.
  • Sales and Communication: Generate sales quotes via Salesforce and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Collaboration and Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to process improvements.
  • Site Visits: Attend site visits as needed to ensure project accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience with Framecad or similar detailing/estimating software.
  • Plan Interpretation Skills: Strong plan interpretation and drafting skills.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in Excel and CSV reporting.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Cross-Functional Background: Open to candidates from timber or residential drafting backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
