Structural Steel Fabrication Specialist

This role is an opportunity to work as a skilled boilermaker onsite, responsible for the installation of structural steel components and performing welding tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication and installation with structural steel, along with good MMAW skills in all positions - site welding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install structural steel components and perform welding tasks onsite.
  • Read and interpret workshop drawings, marking plans, and use RLs for setting out.
  • Work safely in a team environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Be reliable with a stable work history and positive attitude towards work.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in fabrication and installation with structural steel.
  • Good MMAW skills in all positions - site welding.
  • Experience working with shop drawings, marking plans, and using RLs for setting out.
  • Reliable with a stable work history and positive attitude towards work.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills

  • Dogging / Basic Rigging Ticket.
  • EWP/Yellow card.
