We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced structural steel installation specialist to join our team. As a key member of the installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of structural steel components.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in structural steel installation, with a strong understanding of drawing interpretation, site marking and setting out, and precision rigging and installation techniques.

You will work closely with clients and other subcontractors to meet project deadlines and expectations, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting drawings to ensure accurate installation">
  • Marking and setting out structural components for safe and efficient installation">
  • Rigging and installing structural steel components with precision and care">
  • Installing metalwork, including balustrades and screens, to enhance building structures">
  • Performing site welding as required to ensure high-quality installations">

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years experience in structural steel installation">
  • Trade qualification (Boilermaker) or licensed rigger">
  • Competency in stick welding and ability to read and understand drawings">
  • Fabrication and installation skills for metalwork items such as handrails and awnings">
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety protocols">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team">

  • Working at Heights certification">
  • E.W.P. above 11m (advantageous)">
