The RoleWe seek an ambitious part-time legal secretary ( hours per week) to join our Corporate Health and Aged Care team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will be proactive, capable of working autonomously, and possess excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with clients and staff;
- Preparation of legal documents;
- Correspondence via email, memo, or letter;
- Billing and diary management;
- Maintaining and closing matter files.
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude;
- Be able to manage the workflow of multiple fee earners;
- Possess intermediate-advanced computer skills across Microsoft Office, particularly in Word and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Excel and typing speed above wpm;
- Show strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrate strong organizational and file management skills.
While experience with document management and billing/time recording systems is highly regarded, it is not essential.
