Procurement Specialist Role

The Procurement Specialist role is an exciting opportunity for a professional to contribute to procurement and cost estimating functions.

Key responsibilities include drafting tender packages, participating in tender recap reviews, and performing quantity take-offs. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

This role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related discipline or trade experience, and 3-5 years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating, procurement, or a related field.

  • Assists in developing and managing BOQ for pricing sheets;
  • Participates in scope compliance verification and tracks changes between 30% to IFC level designs;

Responsibilities
  • Reviews vendor product/equipment data for compliance to procurement specification;
  • Leads or assists in writing award recommendations and risk mitigation plans;
  • Prepares subcontract/supply agreements, and coordinates T&Cs/scope of works reviews;
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in related discipline or trade experience;
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating, procurement or related field experience is preferred;
