About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Ventia's finance team as a Finance Manager. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in enhancing financial performance for the contract by partnering with operational stakeholders, providing data-driven insights, and performing routine budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive efficient day-to-day processes and deliver project outcomes.
  • Monitor and optimize performance against targets, including revenue, EBITDA, net working capital, and operating cash flow.
  • Deliver timely and accurate reporting of actuals against forecast and budget, including variance analysis and risk management.
  • Prepare budgeting and forecasting requirements, aligning with operational targets and strategies.
  • Support decision-making with analysis and reporting to meet internal and client financial reporting requirements.
  • Resolve queries and complete deliverables with client contacts in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Drive continuous improvement in end-to-end processes, including purchase to pay, order to cash, recruit to onboard, and payroll.
  • Lead and develop direct reports, overseeing workload, cross-training, skills development, and performance reviews.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting.
  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • Proven experience in project accounting, with high-volume project experience an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders and direct reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage with senior client personnel, management, and project delivery teams.
  • SAP experience required, with Power BI skills highly desirable.
