Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Occupational Therapy Graduate to join our team in Bunbury. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.
Key Responsibilities- Assist and shadow the rehab consulting team in undertaking Worksite, Functional, Ergonomic, Equipment and Home ADL Assessments
- Report writing and other administrative tasks
- Designing, implementing and monitoring programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce
- Liaising with clients, medical practitioners, insurers and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
- Providing Ad Hoc Support to a multi-disciplinary team of Rehabilitation Consultants to assist clients in recovering from injury
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy, with the ability to obtain AHPRA registration as an OT upon graduation (final year applicants preferred, but all OT Students will be considered)
- Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence is essential)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
- A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
