Job Title: Occupational Therapist - NDIS Specialist

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum

Location: Bunbury, WA

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Occupational Therapist - NDIS Specialist. In this role, you will work with individuals with disabilities to develop and implement personalized plans to improve their functional independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a caseload of clients with diverse needs and goals, providing high-quality occupational therapy services in line with NDIS requirements.
  • Conduct assessments, develop plans, and provide interventions to enhance clients' functional abilities, safety, and social participation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to achieve coordinated outcomes and promote client-centered care.
  • Prescribe equipment and assistive technologies, home modifications, and vehicle adaptations to support clients' needs.
  • Provide education and support to clients, families, and caregivers on health and wellness strategies, prevention, and maintenance of optimal mental and physical outcomes.
  • Liaise with referrers, doctors, employers, and other allied health professionals to ensure seamless service delivery and communication.
Requirements
  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Demonstrated experience in capacity building, home modifications, driving assessments, and vehicle modification recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS framework, its policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
