Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Bunbury on a full-time or part-time basis. As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:
- Working within various insurance schemes, including Motor Accident Schemes, Worker's Compensation and DVA
- Assisting and shadowing the rehab consulting team undertaking Worksite, Functional, Ergonomic, Equipment and Home ADL Assessments
- Report writing and other administrative tasks
- Designing, implementing and monitoring programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce
- Liaising with clients, medical practitioners, insurers and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
- Providing Ad Hoc Support to a multi-disciplinary term of Rehabilitation Consultants to assist clients in recovering from injury
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy, with the ability to obtain AHPRA registration as an OT upon graduation (final year applicants preferred, but all OT Students will be considered)
- Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence is essential)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
- A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
