Role Overview:
- A Trade Counter Assistant supports a team in providing customer service and information about products.
- The ideal candidate has previous experience in retail sales or customer service, enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone, and can pick orders and maintain shop floor displays.
About the Job:
DescriptionThe role involves assisting engineers, project managers, and other tradespeople to access the products they need. You will undertake various tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly.
Your Daily Tasks- Providing customer service and product information
- Preparing quotes for customers
- Picking, packing, and stocking products
- Maintaining the branch's tidiness and safety standards
- Making occasional deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience
- Ability to work with computers and learn new systems
- Clean, valid driver's license
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
