About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead our procurement services, including planning, development, sourcing, contracts, and risk management.

This role will report to the Chief Strategy Officer and develop and implement strategies to support the business needs.

The successful candidate will centralise the group approach to supplier management for direct spend, leverage purchasing power to enhance pricing and rebate outcomes, and create and implement strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement and high-quality goods and service.

Evaluating and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors is also a key responsibility of this role.

Managing the entire procurement process from initiation to final receipt and approval of goods, managing the purchasing budget, analysing market trends to forecast demand and mitigate risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations are additional duties of this position.

Requirements
  • At least 10 years' experience in Procurement, Sourcing or Supply Chain in a managerial capacity.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM).
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, negotiation skills, data analysis, and ability to write and manage RFP's.
