Water Resources Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a member of our Water Resources team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging projects that expand your skill base and keep you engaged.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic investigations and designs for various studies, including rural and urban flood studies, transport and mine infrastructure, floodplain management, water balance modeling, stormwater management, and mine water management.
  • Support the delivery of water resources projects nationally.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the engineering and environment team.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients.
  • Support the delivery of technical models and reports to a high standard, contributing to KBR's reputation for delivering quality project outputs.
  • TUFLOW/HEC-RAS modeling and project management.
Requirements:
  • Exposure to WSUD, flood risk management, waterway design, wetland design, dams, retarding basins, and major drainage assets would be highly desirable.
  • Ability to work on strategy, design, and delivery projects.
  • Experience with GIS mapping, flood modeling, bids, proposals, and mentoring juniors.
