Job Title: Protective Services Officer
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Protective Services Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and assets.
Key Responsibilities:- Protecting people, property, and assets of Western Sydney Local Health District from potential risks and threats.
- Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors by implementing effective security measures and protocols.
- A Class 1A Licence as issued under the Security Industry Act 1997.
- A Certificate II in Security Guarding and a current First Aid Certificate.
- A valid NSW Driver Licence with an excellent driving record (full or provisional class C).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, and visitors.
- The ability to manage difficult situations in a calm and professional manner.
- The capacity to adapt and learn current and emerging security and IT systems.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in working in customer service roles, particularly dealing with traffic monitoring.
Western Sydney Local Health District is responsible for providing primary and secondary healthcare services to the Auburn, Blacktown, and Hills Shire, Holroyd, and Parramatta Local Government Areas, as well as tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region.
