Child Welfare Professional

A key opportunity has arisen for a Child Welfare Professional to contribute to the improvement of children's and families' wellbeing by providing specialist interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality counselling services that cater to the diverse needs of clients, including those experiencing trauma and neglect.
  • Coordinate cases, provide advocacy, liaison, and consultation services to support clients and their families.
  • Offer clinical supervision and expert advice to colleagues on matters related to child protection and welfare.
Requirements:
  • A Social Work degree or equivalent qualification, with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Substantial post-graduate experience in providing therapeutic interventions, case management, and groupwork to individuals affected by child protection issues.
