The Opportunity

Reporting to the Account Executive Lead, you'll manage a portfolio of complex, profitable, and strategically important merchant customers. Your goal will be to drive growth across the portfolio, collaborating with external parties to create seamless, cost-effective, and reliable payment experiences.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and expand customer acquiring solutions, ensuring ongoing profitability through portfolio review, advisory reviews, and re-pricing activities.
  • Develop key high-value customer relationships.
  • Apply a solution-based sales approach to achieve customer outcomes.
  • Stay informed about key industry trends and share insights across the customer portfolio.
  • Provide expert advice on electronic payments and find solutions to complex customer questions.
  • Develop strong internal relationships with ANZ Corporate & Institutional Banking Teams and become a trusted product specialist.
  • You will be measured on sustainable growth, customer satisfaction, and retention.

Qualifications and Skills:

Our ideal candidate has experience in sales, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. We're looking for a self-starter with strong negotiating skills and a proven track record of success:

  • Experience in payments, merchant acquiring, transaction banking, or technology sales.
  • Bachelor's degree or similar level of experience.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, virtual, and organisational skills.
  • Experience working with CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Experience closing complex deals.
  • Ability to analyse business opportunities and read situations well.
  • Strong networking skills.
