The role of the Mechanical Leader is crucial in achieving this goal. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, as well as knowledge of stock and spare part management systems.

The Mechanical Leader will be responsible for supervising and coordinating daily activities of a team of mechanics, providing hands-on guidance and training to ensure team members develop technical skills and adhere to company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate daily activities of a team of mechanics, provide hands-on guidance and training.
  • Workshop Operations: Plan, prioritize, and oversee campervan repair and maintenance tasks, inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Inventory and Spare Parts Management: Monitor stock levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables, coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement and negotiate cost-effective purchasing agreements.
  • Budget and Reporting: Track and report on workshop performance metrics, propose improvements in processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations, conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
