Job Description

This is a key leadership opportunity for an exceptional educational leader who can drive academic excellence and foster a culture of inclusivity, care, and connection.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of our school, guiding teachers and staff to provide high-quality learning experiences, and promoting student success, wellbeing, and community engagement.

  • Foster a Thriving Culture: Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, and stakeholders, ensuring a culture of care, connection, and inclusivity.
  • Educate and Inspire: Lead a united and motivated team, mentoring staff through trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence.
  • Champion Community Engagement: Strengthen partnerships with families and the wider community, ensuring the school feels like home and every voice is part of the journey.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong practising Catholic background, committed to the mission of Catholic education.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate and create a shared improvement agenda aligning with system priorities and evidence-based practices.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, with capacity to build trusting relationships with students, staff, families, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively analyse and respond to student data to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, including equity and diversity, work health and safety, and performance management principles in staff management.
