Job Title

A permanent full-time position commencing in January 2025.

Role of Middle Leader

The Middle Leader exists to support the principal in implementing the vision and mission of the school, to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students, and to assist the school leadership team in the conduct and organisation of the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the principal in implementing the school's vision and mission.
  • Develop and maintain a positive, innovative approach to support students with challenging behaviours.
  • Build a positive learning culture of high expectations for all, with an emphasis on differentiated learning to meet the holistic needs of students.
Requirements
  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching.
  • NESA Accreditation at Proficient Teacher level or above.
  • Level C Accreditation aligned with 'Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools' policy.
  • Additional qualifications or experience in a relevant area.
Selection Criteria
  • A deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
  • A commitment to promoting and embedding the school's values in pastoral programs and practices.
  • A strong understanding of contemporary approaches to student well-being and management.
  • The demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and work collaboratively with staff.
Qualifications
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
