Senior Older Adult Mental Health Specialist

This role offers an exciting chance to join a dedicated team working in older adult mental health, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. You will be based at Stratheden Hospital and work closely with colleagues across NHS Fife, covering both community and in-patient services.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to teamwork. They must also be committed to continuous professional development and enthusiastic about contributing to service improvement initiatives.
The post is full-time, with consideration given to flexible working arrangements. The successful candidate will participate in regular CPD activities, peer supervision, and educational events as part of the in-house program.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality patient care in older adult mental health settings.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve service goals.
- Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to peer supervision and educational activities.
- Fully registered medical practitioner with MRCPsych or equivalent qualifications.
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or eligibility for inclusion within 6 months of the interview date.
- Specialist registration via CESR route available; support for this process is provided.
