Event Coordinator Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and enthusiastic event coordinator to join our team.

  • Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced event coordinator to plan and deliver high-quality events that exceed client expectations.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate, plan, and coordinate council events, including identifying opportunities for new events and partnerships.
  • Provide event management expertise and support to other staff organizing community events.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, volunteers, and community groups to enhance and maintain council's public image positively.
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum of Queensland C class drivers' licence.
  • Demonstrated experience in event planning, coordination, and reporting.
  • A proven ability to use initiative and project manage programs.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Benefits:
