About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Advisor to join our global People team at Samskip Multimodal B.V. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to our employees and managers on all people-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Selection: Coordinate international recruitment and selection procedures, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Employee Support: Provide guidance and support to line managers on various people challenges, including training and development, absenteeism, and performance management.
  • Liaison and Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with UK institutions, labor organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Onboarding and Training: Ensure new employees receive comprehensive onboarding and training, including Samskip's training courses and company information.
  • Global Projects: Participate in global People projects and initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Administrative Tasks: Oversee administrative tasks in the UK, including reward projects and payroll coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: Completed relevant higher professional education, such as human resources management.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of work experience, with experience in payroll being a plus.
  • Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of national laws, regulations, and legislation, including labor agreements and tariffs.
