Strategic Credit Policy Leader

We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead complex credit policy initiatives and contribute to strategic risk projects. As a key player in shaping the future of credit policy, you will drive change across the business, simplifying policies and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee high-impact credit policy endeavors and collaborate with senior stakeholders on strategic risk projects
- Mentor team members across Business Lending Risk, fostering a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing
- Enjoy hybrid work flexibility within a purpose-driven team environment
- Proven experience working in credit risk or financial services, with a strong understanding of credit origination and evaluation processes
- Confidence reviewing credit policies and frameworks, ideally with expertise in APRA's prudential standards
- Clear communication skills to articulate technical ideas to non-technical audiences
- A knack for solving complex problems and identifying opportunities to improve processes
- Comfortable working in project environments, particularly Agile or hybrid setups
- Familiarity with data tools like Power BI or Tableau, and an interest in leveraging data to inform decision-making
