Optimising Credit Policy for Sustainable Growth

We're seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Credit Policy Analyst. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for optimising credit policies and settings to balance risk and reward, ensuring sustainable portfolio growth and improved return on equity (ROE).

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in credit risk, lending products, or credit operations, with a proven track record of credit policy optimisation and portfolio analysis. You'll work independently to identify and act on opportunities, leveraging advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and data interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement credit policies that align with business objectives, balancing risk and reward.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance credit processes and improve customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of credit policy changes and related documentation.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in Financial Services, with deep expertise in credit risk, lending products, or credit operations.
  • Proven experience in credit policy optimisation and portfolio analysis.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and data interpretation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills- both oral and written.
  • Sound knowledge of Commercial Lending (CRE & SME).
