We are seeking a seasoned Construction Professional to lead our busy and growing team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, competent, self-motivated, and experienced in commercial construction projects.

About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing construction methodologies for efficient and safe builds
  • Coordinating sub-contractors and trades
  • Managing Quality and WHS compliance
  • Reporting to internal stakeholders and advising on site progression and outcomes
  • Developing and managing project programs
  • Maintaining strong relationships with Subcontractors, Consultants, and Client partners
  • Leading and coaching staff effectively to achieve project and individual goals

The successful applicant will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role, including:

  • A current Drivers License and own vehicle
  • A current building & construction industry induction card (White Card)
  • Self-motivation with a high work ethic
  • Proven building knowledge and a thorough understanding of the construction process
  • Willingness to adapt to tasks and conditions
  • A strong understanding of project planning and programming
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong experience in maintaining and promoting health and safety in the workplace
  • A good understanding of working in team environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead, plan for and manage onsite resources
  • Carrying out safety audits, toolbox talks, quality ITPs and site coordination meetings
  • Providing practical solutions to daily on-site challenges and obstacles
  • Leading, managing and mentoring team members
