About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in data and operations, with a strong focus on delivering innovative solutions using Azure cloud services.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining robust data pipelines, performing data processing, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining data pipelines in ADF, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics
  • Performing data processing using PySpark, Python, SparkSQL, and T-SQL
  • Onboarding new sources/datasets to existing frameworks in ADF, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics
  • Collaborating with teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions
  • Ensuring data governance, security, and best practices are followed
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Proven expertise in ADF, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, PySpark, Python, SparkSQL, and T-SQL
  • Hands-on experience with metadata driven or config driven frameworks
  • Experience working with external customer bases, preferably in a consulting capacity
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, release pipelines, branching strategies, and Git
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
