Environmental Sustainability Data Specialist

Sustainability is increasingly becoming a core component of business strategy, driving the need for robust environmental data management systems. As an Environmental Sustainability Data Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing sustainable practices within our organization.

Job Description:

This specialist position focuses on managing and interpreting environmental sustainability data to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting, verifying, and consolidating energy and carbon data from various sources, including National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Scheme (NGERS), Corporate Emissions Reduction Transparency Report (CERT), and Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) reports.
  • Providing expert advice and support to stakeholders on current and evolving carbon accounting practices relevant to our climate and energy strategies.
  • Responding to ad-hoc queries and providing technical assistance as needed to support projects and improvement programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
