
Early Childhood Education Leadership Role

The Area Manager plays a pivotal role in driving exceptional care, financial prudence, compliance, and growth across our centres.
In this dynamic leadership position, you will oversee multiple centres through regular visits, centre plans, and performance analysis. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety policies and escalating/reporting serious incidents promptly.
- Lead occupancy growth, workforce management, and employee development, including recruitment, training, performance, and retention strategies.
- Collaborate with Quality Advisors to meet/exceed National Quality Standards, uphold cleanliness and safety, and address serious service issues.
- Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, control overdue debt, and approve payments/timesheets to meet business targets.
- Quality Management: Ensure high-quality care and services are delivered across all centres.
- Compliance: Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, Work Health and Safety policies, and company procedures.
- Financial Management: Manage centre budgets, monitor financial performance, and make informed decisions to drive growth and profitability.
- People Development: Lead the development of employees, including recruitment, training, performance management, and retention strategies.
- Proven experience as an Area Manager in early childhood education, with multi-site management essential.
- Diploma in Business, Children's Services, or equivalent qualification.
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework.
- Strong leadership, budgeting, and time management skills, with attention to detail.
