Salary : £23,000 – £26,000 (dependant on experience)

Overview

The role of a Planner plays a vital part in the process of allocating, scheduling, and issuing jobs to suppliers.

This position involves closely monitoring the progress of works to ensure they are completed within agreed timescales.

The Planner is essential in helping to deliver project targets by planning and coordinating with other teams.

Responsibilities

  • Accepting jobs and allocating these to the necessary suppliers, as well as scheduling these works to be completed.
  • Liaising with clients in regards to queries surrounding jobs.
  • Ensuring that delivery forecast trackers and documents are kept up to date daily.
  • Liaising with other departments to discuss additional requirements.
  • Assisting with the closing down of jobs once works have been completed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Computer literate – experience of working with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Strong administration and organisation skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, ensure deadlines are met and manage business expectations.
  • Have a strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
