Project Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to manage and coordinate projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Developing detailed project plans and coordinating with cross-functional teams to execute project objectives.
  • Monitoring project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Providing regular status updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress and outcomes.
  • Coordinating project meetings with stakeholders to set expectations and discuss results.
  • Assisting in the preparation of bids and proposals.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, or a related discipline.
  • Up to 5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or an Engineer aspiring to become a Project Manager.
  • Previous experience working within a consultancy will be highly regarded.
  • Experience engaging with clients in government, water, environment, major construction, and infrastructure projects.
  • A sound understanding of project management frameworks, preferably with Project Management qualifications/certifications (e.g., PMP) or working towards attainment.
