We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our Launceston Distribution Hub.

As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Manage site distribution, warehouse operations, Truck and Forklift fleet, suppliers, property, and inventory control to meet KPIs and targets while ensuring a high level of EHS compliance.
  • Safety Leadership: Champion safety and wellbeing, ensuring compliance with legislation, company policies, and AS-45001 standards.
  • Team Management: Lead, coach, and mentor your team, driving people development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive site and process improvement projects using our Supply Chain Excellence Framework and adopt new technologies to maintain industry-leading service standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing and coaching staff within a warehouse environment (min. 2 years' exp. as a warehouse manager)
  • Strong understanding of small to medium warehousing and distribution environments
  • LF Forklift Licence – highly desirable
  • MR or HR Truck Licence – highly desirable
  • Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience managing EHS and COR in line with policy and legislation
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and a customer-first approach
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
