About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join our team at Scentre Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in the preparation of financial information for the Group, SGT1/SGT2 consolidated groups, and Subtrust entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the half-year and year-end financial reporting process for the stapled Trusts, including delivering soft-close, financial consolidation, half-year, and annual financial reports, cash flow statements, disclosures, and supporting analysis in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare Group property income analysis supporting consolidated results.
  • Prepare income tax calculations.
  • Prepare Subtrust financial statements and unit issues.
  • Monthly GL close, including intercompany and bank reconciliations, BAS preparation, and Sydney Subtrust accounts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.
  • CA/CPA qualification.
  • Experience in consolidation, financial statement preparation, and accounting for capital transactions.
  • Microsoft Excel - advanced.
  • JD Edwards - preferred.
  • OneStream - preferred.
