About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join our team at Scentre Group. As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will play a critical role in the delivery of financial reporting and compliance obligations of our company.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the half-year and year-end financial reporting process for our stapled trusts, including delivering soft-close, financial consolidation, half-year and annual financial reports, cash flow statements, disclosures, and supporting analysis in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare group property income analysis supporting consolidated results.
  • Prepare income tax calculations.
  • Prepare sub-trust financial statements and unit issues.
  • Monthly GL close, including intercompany and bank reconciliations, BAS preparation, and Sydney sub-trust accounts.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • CA/CPA qualification.
  • Experience in consolidation, financial statement preparation, and accounting for capital transactions.
  • Microsoft Excel - advanced.
  • JD Edwards - preferred.
  • OneStream - preferred.
